Neo-cartridges are the only truly leak proof cartridges.
The difference between a solid plastic cartridge and a membrane is significant. It ensures that the machine stays clean from anything coming from inside of the cartridge. And even more importantly, if the machine gets contaminated from another source there is no way for fluids or pathogens to reach the skin back through the cartridge. It eliminates the inside of the cartridge as a possible path for cross contamination, which is impossible to control and narrows it down to the factors that is controllable by the tattoo artists.
Most artists have experienced a broken membrane and it might not seem significant but the consequences can be devastating for both client and your business as a professional tattoo artist.
Read the machine manual before use. Use the metal stand that comes with the machines and don’t touch the back part of the cartridge in session.
